Preparation for the Written Expression Test: Level B or C
Training will be carried out, using the Public Service Commission exercise books in order to identify specifically all grammar concepts that require further consolidation, therefore helping the student to develop specific communication competencies.
This will involve simple and complex sentence construction and use of pronouns, articles, prepositions, adverbs and gender within a specific and contextual student to teacher interaction.
Concepts will be reviewed within specific and concrete contexts to encourage practical use of French.
The following constitute the specific Learning Objectives of this area:

- Written comprehension.
- Proper grammar in writing, including past tense, passive voice, and conditional sentences.
- Use of professional vocabulary in detailed explanations.
- Use of appropriate communication strategies in general and work-related situations.
Grammar manuals shall be used only as reference not as permanent study tools. This reflects our teaching strategy, emphasizing practice to build the confidence of the learner.
